The Migrant Employment Legal Service (MELS) is a state-wide legal service addressing the exploitation of migrant workers. We offer free, confidential legal advice and representation to migrants and temporary visa holders in New South Wales.

We help on employment matters if you are:

  • On a temporary visa (including refugee, working holiday and student visas)
  • A permanent resident or an Australian citizen from a culturally and linguistically diverse background
